There is just over a week left until the launch of our first International Trading Championship, and so far the take up has been great. But there is still time to put your name down and compete to win our great prizes.

The University Trading Championship 2011 is open to all University students and will begin at 12:00 hrs on Monday 14th February 2011 and will end 16:00hrs on Friday 11th March 2011. The Championship consists of two separate competitions that run in parallel, one for UK Share Trading and one for Forex Trading, it is up to you if you want to enter one or both. You will be given £100,000 of virtual trading money to fund each competition account to enter and play - your goal is to beat the clock to get the best return on your investments!

Over the one month period you will be able to test your trading skills and strategies in real time on two investment portfolios, one trading the main Forex pairs and the other trading the FSTE 250 stocks. As well as the overall prize there will prizes for the best individual Forex portfolio and FSTE portfolio.

There are some superb prizes to compete for including: £200 plus a 3 months subscription to Futex daily market analysis from Futex, three places on the Professional Trader Programme at Schneider Trading and an internship at Amplify Trading.

Already we have over 200 students signed up to compete, but please continue to spread the word and invite your fellow university colleagues to register.
